A Sharp Reprimand For Rumors |
|
|
|
Home Minister Govind Ballabh Pant was ill and lying in a coma in Delhi. A
visitor came to Church Lane, where Baba was sitting among a group of
devotees, and informed Baba that Pant ji had died. Hearing this, Baba
covered himself from head to toe with his blanket and sat silently.
After some time he sharply reprimanded the man saying, "You
are spreading rumors among people." Justifying himself,
the man said that he had heard the news at the market. Baba said, "Such
things should not be spoken without knowing their truth."
Pant ji died two days later.
