When Baba Shri Ram of Badrinath was about eighty-six years of age, he came
with his devotees to Kainchi ashram after his pilgrimage to Manasarovar
and Kailash in October 1985. He had had a close association with
Maharaj and related an incident that he had witnessed years before. He
said, "I saw Maharaj conversing with the murti of
Hanuman at Sankat Mochan temple, Varanasi, in the same way as we are
now talking to each other."
