I once went with Maharaj to his village of Akbarpur. When we entered the
village, I found that Baba's mode of dress had altogether changed while
we were walking. He was wearing a dhoti, kurta
(loose-fitting shirt), turban, and shoes. The sight startled me. After
meeting people, Baba decided to leave. As we came out of the village,
his clothes turned into a dhoti and blanket, as
before. Baba
never openly showed a marvel, so I took this incident as a sign of his
special blessing on me. Keeping his views on publicity in mind, I
concealed this experience from people.
