Affection for the Low Castes |

Babaji had a great affection for the low castes disregarded by society. He had meals at their place with great fondness. Gandhiji had taken upon himself the task of uplifting the low castes in 1929, but Babaji had accepted the services of a fowler Gopal, from whose shadow the high castes maintained some distance, in 1916. He used to take milk and other eatables to the Neeb Karori cave for Babaji. In Nainital also, Babaji visited the low caste inhabitation of village Manora and partook prasad. It was the same at Bhumiadar also.
